Who we are
Admitted to the bar in 1989, Attorney Morris has been practicing for over 30 years, primarily in the area of Family Law.
He graduated from the University of Connecticut (BA, 1983) and the University of Bridgeport Law School (JD, 1988). Attorney Morris is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association.
Attorney Morris is a veteran of numerous trials throughout the state, including simple uncontested dissolutions, complicated custody trials, and complex business valuations.
He has been a principal author of numerous briefs to the Connecticut Appellate Court and has participated in two actions before the Connecticut Supreme Court. Attorney Morris was a contributing author to the Law Practice Handbooks publication of Family Law & Practice In Connecticut.
A lifelong resident of Wethersfield, Attorney Morris served for twelve years on the Board of Education.
He has served the board in many capacities, including Vice-Chair of the Board, member of the Board’s Budget Sub-Committee, member of the Technology Committee, member of the Communications Committee principally involved with the creation of the Board’s Newsletter, and member of the committee then responsible for strategic planning and renovation of town schools.
